Current Positions Available:

Director of Research and Development, Concord, CA: Supervise research and development of medical software products and services for radiation therapy (advanced 3D, medical image analysis, deformable registration, Monte Carlo and deterministic dose computation & large scale optimization problems, 4-D optimization/Plan Robustness, parallelization techniques, GUI development). Work with University/hospital research groups to identify improvement areas. Assess industry trends. Coordinate research to keep products on cutting edge. Supervise research team to determine feasibility for development priorities, to clarify uncertainties and mitigate risks. Responsible for realizing a software environment capable of facilitating external product development in an effort to ensure quickest time to market.  Attend tradeshows, visit research sites, read appropriate periodicals. Oversee technical user documentation development. Serve as clinical adviser.

Requirements: PhD (or foreign equivalent) in Oncology plus at least one year’s post doctoral experience in radiotherapy software development. Experience in mathematical dose calculation modeling/optimization theory and coding experience to build product prototype is required. History of successful publications is required.
